Ø  Publicity

Since the college enjoys a spatial monopoly in admission of students it needs very little publicity but maintains high transparency in admission process. However the college gives publicity to the admission process through-

Ø  Flux Board

The college displays flux board at important places by giving all important information about college admission process, courses offered, its vision, mission and objectives along with contact numbers of the admission committee teachers for more information.

Ø  College Notice Board

The programme of admission is displayed on the college Notice Board. The information counter guides the students and parents about the admission.

Ø  Prospectus

 

The college prospectus provides detailed information about the college, regarding the courses offered, infrastructure facilities, eligibility criteria for admission to each course, fee structure, subject combinations, academic  information as well as sports facilities, rules and regulations, government scholarships, free-ship etc. It also provides admission forms printed in black on white paper.

 

Transparency in Admission Process:-

The admission process is carried out by admission committee under the guidance and supervision of The Principal. The admission committee ensures transparency in the admission process by strictly following the rules and regulation as laid down by Government of Maharashtra and affiliated university.

 

Ø  The Admission Process

Before the commencement of the admission process, the college establishes an admission committee which looks after the college admission procedures under the guidance and supervision of the Principal. The admission process that the college follows is more of informal in nature than formal catering to the youth. Though admissions are made on the basis of the first come first served, the academic record of the student is taken into consideration and admission done strictly in accordance with the reservation policy of the Government of Maharashtra .

At first the college provides a prospectus to the students, which contains all information about admission process, subject combination, admission fees and college rules and regulations along with admission form. Then students turn to help desk where the admission committee helps the students in case of problem. They also counsel students for choosing their subject combinations, guides the students in filling admission form. After filling the form the students submit it to the admission window by paying minimum fees. The confirmation of admission is given by providing them  identity card.
